Poppy in the harvest.

We had another good game of tennis this morning, although the sun made serving a bit of a challenge! On the way home I saw this poppy and it reminded me harvest is just around the corner.
The extra is one of a few cornflowers which have managed to grow from the bee seeds I planted in June See blip in May https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2711734234686425743 . I was a bit disappointed with them when they first came through - but now I've seen a bee on one of the flowers I feel a bit happier. I was quite late putting them in, hopefully they will offer a better coverage next year.
