Windermere from Sour Howes

A Wainwright walk today with Andrew and Katie, and Katie’s mum Sue who is almost at the end of her Wainwright Challenge! With only nine to go, she wanted to use the opportunity of their visit to tick off two more, Sour Howes and Sallows above the Troutbeck Valley.
It was a great walk up with blue skies and the views from the top were excellent, all the way to Morecambe Bay, Windermere and Dunn’s reservoir.
A couple of geocaches too!
