Bubbles

I was woken early this morning (3am) to hear heavy rainfall, it didn't last that long but was very welcome.  It was a grey day really still fairly warm but with rain and storms forecast.  We didn't have much more rain and headed out this morning for a walk along the river.  Our grandson really enjoys watching birds flying and was fascinated with the swallows flying very quickly under the bridge.  As we were returning to the car three flocks of geese flew overhead which he also managed to see.  After his morning sleep he had his next taste of a vegetable, it was green beans from the allotment.  He is beginning to get the hang of this now and he was very happy to consume all the puree, he doesn't really have much time for the soft finger food green bean.  Later in the afternoon we got the bubbles out, another first for him and not surprisingly he lovely to watch them, you can almost hear his questions of what happens to them when they disappear from sight.  He also progressed a little on his crawling moving forwards a little, but its very tiring and frustrating for him.

A pity the weather was not so good today but L enjoyed himself and thats what really counts. Also my daughter found time to wash her hair and I trimmed the ends for her so she will feel better for that.
