Pastels

What a snorter of a frost we had this morning but it gave way to a magnificent day thankfully. Although we only reached 10 deg.
A few domestic chores this morning, rugby and a zoom with my photographer mates this afternoon.

The last round of rugby between Wellington's Hurricanes and Otago's Highlanders was played in an empty stadium - great game with the Highlanders coming out winners.  The other final game scheduled for tomorrow was to be played in Auckland against our Crusaders.  Of course with Auckland being in Lockdown 3 this has had to be cancelled.  It was a sell out which is disappointing for the rugby union coffers.

On other news, we won't be going to Wellington on Wednesday - the 80th birthday party has been cancelled.....we had already pulled the pin and have now got a airfare credit to be used before the end of 2021.

Seven new Covid cases, six of which are connected to the cluster, the other unknown at this stage.
