School always used to have a staggered end time but the introduction of an additional split means this will now remain until the oldest one goes to big school. There's now a staggered start time system, but the smaller ones starting earlier is the more convenient way round. The children waking earlier loses some of the advantage not getting up early and starting work straight away but I can still fit in most of a working day before the lunchtime collection, especially with an ostensible half-day booked at work for the remaining Fridays for the rest of the year, leaving the option to pop in for the odd meeting or to complete the odd task. However, all remains in flux for a few weeks until we see if the inter-class distancing is effective enough when all the children and staff in the school are effectively limited by the least safe of the whole school population's social circles.
