Echinacea...

It's been a dull, damp, dismal sort of day but I really wanted to try out the new camera so I snapped off a roll of Ilford HP4 Plus in the garden.

The camera is very simple to use, but the results I think are excellent. This was taken in very indifferent light just to see that it was working. Mamiya C220 and Sekkor 180mm f4.5, Ilford HP4 Plus, f16 at 1/4 sec.

The extra is the bottom of a climbing rose that Margaret likes... I've had several run-ins with those thorns and I have to say I'm rather less than fond of it.  f16 at 1/2 sec.
