Schildmeer Sunset

The sun sets over lake Schildmeer, Steendam, Slochteren, Groningen, The Netherlands.

Something different this time... Almost always I like to use my wide angle lens to capture the sunset, but today there weren't that many clouds to make an interesting composition with at lake Schildmeer. There were some nice clouds near the horizon, so I reached for my long lens and got this. Not too bad I think. The buoy in this shot really should not be there; I think it came loose when the lake was frozen.

My mother-in-law is celebrating her birthday today; happy birthday Zwaan!
