Flare

A clear night was forecast so got up extra early to see the Moon and Venus rise.  In this extremely lucky shot there is also a satellite flare.  Possibly from one of the remaining Iridium satellites which were decommissioned several years ago.  Not absolutely sure as their orbits are uncontrolled and so can't be predicted.  However judging by the brightness it's more than likely.  Also visible are some well known constellations; Orion being left of centre with Taurus to the left and Canis Major to the right.  The two brightest stars in the night sky are also on show: Sirius and Canopus.  Note for Northern Hemisphere viewers the constellations are upside down and Canopus is not visible further north than Athens.
Extra taken later shows another fine day at the beach.
