The Shard now shines

At last the awaited opening of the famous Shard building in London has happened and I really noticed it's presence tonight after meeting my best friend in Borough market near London Bridge. Designed by Renzo Piano, it is the highest building in Western Europe at 310 m high; 11,000 panes of glass were used; there are 72 habitable floors and apparments fetch up to £50million!
