I haven't seen many bees round the anemones (although I wasn't outside much during last week's heat, so I might have missed them).  What I have noticed is that bees (and hoverflies) often seemed to 'revisit' the same flower.  They would take a few sips, back up a bit, reconsider and then go back in for second or third helpings.
