Love the varied colours that flies come in but they are a blessed nuisance when they’re buzzing around the house! This one obligingly stayed outside today.

As I type I am watching the UK govt do a U turn on exam results. What a bloody debacle from start to finish. The stress this has caused students, teachers and head teachers over the last few days is beyond appalling. I was watching the news this morning where a head from Marlow was being interviewed and her voice shook with anger and sorrow for her students. I really hope this generation remember this in 3/4 years time at election time! And I really hope that universities reassess their acceptance even at the short notice it is going to be
