Bowling Green

Always found this place fascinating.   Right in the heart of the city, across the road from the underground station,  and up a stairway, there are these blocks of flats with their very own bowling green in the middle. It  has an atificial surface. 

Not sure how well used it is as this wasn't the best of days.   As it was locked I had to take the picture through the bars which you can make out on the left hand side.
