Back in Leeds today. I popped to the park at lunchtime and found this hoverfly in the wildflower meadow, 

I was keeping tabs on the developing A level/GCSE algorithm controversy. We seem to have finally arrived at the right solution for GCSEs which will take away a little anxiety for 15yo. Quite what the A level decision means for those of us in the university sector remains to be worked out, but there will undoubtedly continue to be some disappointed prospective students.
