Tuesday in Wanaka

Frida and I had a lovely walk along the Millennium Track where this panorama photo was taken.
 After lunch we took our friends up the Cardrona Valley to the Cardrona Whisky Distillery. We took a tour, which was very interesting, and then had a lovely tasting of their vodka, gin, whisky, orange liqueur and elderberry flower liqueur- the drinks all coming from the same base. Nothing is wasted, which is wonderful.
It was fun- and now some other friends are joining us for “drinks and nibbles”!
