Fount of All Knowledge?

No, just a wee spray of water!
A few days ago we added this little solar fountain to our bird-bath. It seems to be a success, i.e. the birds just ignore it. It does seem to keep the water from getting stale and gungy but only gives of its best in full sun. 
Although we were supposed to have quite a wet day today, it has remained mostly dry so we have done our 10k steps without any discomfort.
