Globe Artichokes

Today's the day ……………………… to leave well alone

I was never going to eat them, was I?

There was the good suggestion from walkingS, that I could eat one artichoke and leave the other one to flower - but when it came to it, I couldn't bring myself to chop even one off before its prime.

So here they are, in all their glory.  And you know what?  I don't regret my decision for a second …………………….
