Turnstone - 56

Not quite as unexpected as my Madagascar Red Fody a few weeks ago but I certainly didn't expect to be able to take a photo of a turnstone with my iPhone. I hadn't recorded one in this country this year and they are the sort of bird that I usually only see from a long distance. 

This one was strolling along Otterspool Promenade as I was out geocaching with Paul and it obligingly stayed for a couple of minutes before flying off.
