Eagle Owl in Flight

Today we went to the Thirsk bird of prey center. After only planning to see two displays we ended up staying for all three. This meaning I had the opportunity to take some photos of birds in flight and close up.

Today's blip was hard to choose as I had taken a lot of good photos of birds in flight as well as birds very close up with lots of detail. I eventually chose this one after it being the best looking after editing.

The photo shows an Eagle Owl in flight on it's way to dive down and get's it's prey (bits of turkey).
