Kilarrow

At the top of Main Street in Bowmore, looking down to Loch Indaal, is Kilarrow Parish Church, more popularly known as Bowmore Round Church.
The Round Church was built in 1767 to a very unusual circular design; the only completely circular church in Scotland. The unusual round shape is said to have been designed so there would be no corners for the devil to hide in.

I too this shot at 7.30am and it was already 17 deg C. However when I drove to the ferry shortly afterwards it was cool and misty.  The Finlaggan took us through the mist and back into blue sky, see extra, where we watched dolphins surface nearby.

Home now and feeling tired.
