Silky sea

N and I decided to have a wee trip out in the boat before the weather deteriorates overnight and we had a wonderful afternoon. I was fascinated by the silkiness of the sea, reflecting the blue sky and barely rocking the boat. We headed out to Coll before returning for N to do a spot of fishing off Cailaich Point. We saw lots of sheerwaters skimming the sea, quite a few gannets chilling out and a couple of porpoises.teased us with just a glimpse of them as they swam by. While N was fishing I snapped a few photographs of shags of various ages enjoying the sunshine on a nearby rock (extra). The fisherman did well in the short time he had his rod in the water.
