Auntie Laurie

Heathrow is a mere 30mins from auntie Laurie which makes it very convenient for a stop off visit.

Her living room had a few bin liners of blankets stuffed at the side, knitted by women’s institute members and sewn up by Laurie ready to be sent off to Uganda. We chatted about her life in Canada and catching the boat there, working in Manchester, only having holiday every 5 years in Uganda. I met a few of her lovely neighbours, from Devon and Armenia.

She’s such a fabulous lady!
