Art Class

Took S’s mum on an outing to the Franz Marc museum in Kochel this morning. We’ve driven past plenty times but have always been on the way to somewhere else and never actually ventured in. But it’s a very good gallery and now we’ve been we might well re-visit and it’s a definite addition to our ‘visitors’ attractions’ list. The main exhibition was work by Anselm Kiefer, not an artist that either me or S’s mum were familiar with but who grew on her (less so me) as we wandered around. I preferred Marc!
The grounds have to be the perfect place for art classes and these kids seemed to be having a great time even if Marc’s bronzes were unfazed.
Had a fun time with Alex and the witch’s bubble brew tonight. We can mark that down as a success and there’s more brew bubbling away in the cellar .....
