Skyline Pigeon

It was clear that in my quest to use an iconic song title for my February blips, today's was likely to be something 'rain' orientated. I'll keep that in case I need it for another day, however.

'Skyline Pigeon' was on Elton John's first album 'Empty Sky' but in 1972 he re-recorded it with his band and it was released as the B side to 'Daniel'.

As for my pigeon, well he was looking a bit sorrowful with the wind blowing him and the rain running off his shoulder, but they're simple creatures and he soon flew down to the feeders here where he scratches around for the seeds that the fussy Great Tits reject.
