Stepping up

This set of steps is not much used - there is an open gate at the side so no need to step up over the wall.
A warm sunny day today, a bonus after all the rain and before the storm said to be heading our way.  After walking with the ladies I did some gardening, some of the bedding plants are getting a bit ‘back-endish’ so I planted some violas in one of the pots and tidied up a border.
A bit of reading or knitting sitting on the swing seat now is in order!
