The Marble Saloon

Our local National Trust Support group has had to cancel almost every event this year except for today. We were able to visit Stowe House, the first visitors for many months. We were given a guided tour of the magnificent house and its rooms. There is so much gold leaf! The blip is a shot of the ceiling of the most outstanding room, the Marble Saloon. 56 feet from the floor to the top of the glazing.
