The Scallop

This image was captured yesterday morning. My trip to Aldeburgh was inspired by joolsphoto's image of this sculpture on 16th August.

The Scallop was created by Maggi Hambling to commemorate Benjamin Britten. The quote comes from Britten's Peter Grimes " I hear those voices that will not be drowned".
