Our plan today had originally been to go to Manchester to see the Chinese New Year festivities there. In the end we decided to head in the other direction to Liverpool instead.

Despite the cold rain everyone seemed to be in good spirits. Lots of colour and lots of firecrackers.

This image was taken in St Luke's, the bombed out church. Inside there was a large ring of drums and drumsticks. We had a bash ourselves. It was great fun.

There are some more images in my blipfolio.

After yesterday's blip and events I have decided to support Scotland when it comes to rugby and Italy when it comes to football.
