Covid Cafe 2020 - Mayonnaise.

A back blip - nothing special happening but it had the feeling of being busy. Mrs W was going into the office, Mr H was to and from work, Mr E was with me for lunch.
I had a go at making mayonnaise in the afternoon. I've tried many times and always used a food processor having been warned countless times how difficult it was and what a lot of bother it is and how it will "crack" and so on.
Well, fold a tea towel so the bowl is tipped up and both hands are free. Two egg yolks means 500ml of oil. Add whatever you like - mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper etc. Whisk by hand and add the oil slowly. All done in 10 minutes (Jamie Oliver reckons 3). 
Soooo much better than bottled mayo - keeps in the fridge for about a week - but it doesn't last that long in our household.
