Pentlands again

As the forecast suggested a good day before Storm Ellen we decided to go back to the Pentlands and link up some newly created Turf zones. For anyone interested in knowing more about this app click here for more information. We parked at Bonaly and walked up past the reservoir and on up Capelaw before dropping down to Castlelaw Fort for lunch. We came back via Castlelaw Hill, Allermuir Hill and finally Caerketton before making our way back across the northern slopes of the Pentlands to Bonaly. The blip is taken from the top of Castlelaw Hill, which I think is probably the best viewpoint in the Pentlands. It shows Glencorse and Loganlea Reservoirs with the hills from Turnhouse to the Kips on their south side.

Best on black.
