Shock

I will never photograph this again, but I need to share my shock at this incredible space bucket disgracing the bridge I cross daily. It's the bridge keepers' office, they enter it a few times a day to open the bridge to let the tall ships through. The previous office was a kind of yellow wooden barrack with glass windows and a record player inside. Ugly too, but in a ramshackle way at least. The bridge itself has an enormous concrete counter weight that comes up when it opens, and looks just like a giant paint roller. This is why the bridge's real name is unknown to most and generally referred to as the Verfroller in dutch.
