La vida de Annie

¡Por favor, vete a casa!

New Normality day 61. Although as the number of cases has tripled recently, I expect a new lockdown once the tourists have completed their carefree holidays. What kind of stupid do you have to be to travel during a pandemic spread by human movement?
In other news, Buster spent the morning at the vets, under the pliers to have most of his very loose and unhealthy teeth removed. He coped well with the anaesthetic, and emerged fighting fit and very hungry. Apart from a rather lopsided scowl (he doesn't smile) he seems fine. Odd to need so many teeth out at just 5 years old, as the original Minnie had all hers for the nearly 15 years of her life. Minnie2 on the other hand has a fine set of pearly-whites which she recently used to destroy an ethernet cable linked to my computer. She now cannot be allowed anywhere in the house alone; previously only the bathroom, but today she dismantled the loo-roll holder, so that's also a no-no. Going anywhere presents a problem as she has to come with us in the car, it's way too hot to leave her in it to go shopping, and the beaches are closed to dogs during the "season". Another reason for the tourists to just get the hell out.
Here I present an offering for Abstract Thursday, with the theme Landscape. There are a few elements which could loosely be classed that way in it, and I chose mono because these are dark days...
