Water Colour

I made my customary Thursday escape from the office and stopped off at the bottom of the junction with the M3 next to the River Itchen and Hockley Railway Viaduct. From there I took a circular walk through the meadows pass the Hospital of St Cross and Almshouses and back along the footpath built on the old track originally part of the Didcot and Southampton railway.

This view is from one of the road bridges crossing the river. I deployed ICM to produce this watercolour effect.  It hopefully just about qualifies for Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday challenge of an abstract landscape.
