Knock On Wood

A 1.5 h early morning walk as the sun was getting higher. On the way, suddenly heard someone knocking on wood. As the blip shows, it was a great spotted woodpecker, and its plumage looked wonderful in the early morning sunlight.

Great news about my mum. She has risen from the bed, and had lunch in the canteen sitting in her wheelchair. It was quite tiring, however, which we found out when visiting her in the afternoon.
