Oh dear!

Part of our street, across the road and down a bit, spent a good 26 hours without power because no one from the folk responsible could find a problem in the system. This was despite many messages with expletives inviting them to visit homes to get the proof.

Eventually they fixed the problem and a temporary repair done.

Fast forward 28 hours and the bin guys arrived and in the process of using the bin lift snagged the sagging overhead cable and moved on dragging the pole to the ground.

I think they are lucky that no one died but you have to feel for the 7 houses who are yet again without power.
