Observing Olivia

Woke early thanks to builders opposite, electricians nextdoor, delivery from Travis Perkins too......cuppa in bed at 8.30 before getting up proper.

Really windy last night and this morning, so we decided to drive down to town, which was a good decision, as the rain soon followed. We were just walking from the newsagents to Reds for coffee, when it began lashing it down, we got soaked despite waterproof jackets!

We had coffee and a decent,lunch as we were off to see middle son, DiL and their two little ones this afternoon.

Drove across to Congleton mid afternoon, M6 was pretty busy, but got there within hour. The girls were happy to see us, as usual :-)

We played games, whilst catching up, not that there was a great deal to catch up on, no one is doing much these days ;-)

I tried to get a good photo of both girls today, but failed....mainly because Isabella is like a flea in a bottle, never still. I do really like this shot of Olivia though....she was listening to her Mum telling her something. There is an extra of both the girls with Grandad :-)

They had a mad half hour on the trampoline, then had their tea....just in time for daughter face timing us from her cousins bbq in Southampton, with the rest of hubs family present.....lovely to see them all. Incidentally we have now been released from our restrictions, so should be able to plan our own visit fairly soon.

We arrived home around 8.30pm had the chicken, befetable & noodle soup,Id mande yesterday for tea, with some brown seeded bread. Watched a bit of tv.....downloaded my photos, uploaded this blip, whilst watching a documentary about Shirley Bassey. She is still one amazing singer & performer. Really enjoyed it......might have to download the cd they were recording, it sounded really good!

Anyhow,its now turned midnight, hubs deserted me, so Id best get a wriggle on.....stay safe all.
