A good morning walk* along the coast path, for which this old lime kiln marked the half way point. The kiln used to burn coal and limestone from Wales, to then be used for fertiliser, in building and in paint. 
1st extra: It was quite windy, although the kestrel seemed to have no trouble hovering, prior to diving on its brunch.
2nd extra: Ferdinand was beginning to regret commissioning a sculpture of his head.
