While Mummy Works

We had a lazy morning today. And loved it. Katie had a mammoth play. The lounge looked like a bomb had hit it. But she was so happy. She played in her room for a long time too, and even tidied up after herself in there! She was on an eating mission, as is often the way on a Sunday. Whether its carry over from doing ballet, mummy time and swimming all on a Saturday, I dont know.

She came to work with Mummy this afternoon and had a marvellous time. We went on the train to Doncaster where we met the family's mum. At their house, the mum played dressup with Katie while I photographed the children. While I did the family shots, Katie played at the table football. She's so very good and doesnt fuss at all on the odd occasion she comes with me - she's just excited to be at work with Mummy. After the home shots, we went out to the woods and grounds of a stately home near them. Katie sat merrily in the meitai on my back, encouraging the children. She got them running, laughing, tickling and was a little star. At the end of the session, the family presented Katie with a large bag of haribo.

At the station we got a 'ccino and treated her to a Peppa Pig magazine before we headed for home. She's had a bit of a cough today, so a bit of calpol and she's rather ready for stories, snuggles and bed.
