Dragonfly

She was spectacular but so hard to photograph. Beautifully camouflaged, against rock water and duckweed...wings diaphanous and so fast when flying. She, because the long ovipositor was visible and at work. Golden ringed dragonfly I think but happy to be corrected. Part of a good day of gardening, planning, talking, looking and good fare. So glad to have our pond too.
