Oud-Rekem

We visited Oud-Rekem today, as according to a web-site it is one of the top ten prettiest villages in Belgium. It was nice, but not very pretty. I think it says that says a lot about the other villages in Belgium, as by French or English standards Oud-Rekem was kind of ordinary. On the other hand there was a nice art exhibition in the obligatory Kasteel. On the way we had a little hike around Hoge Kempen.
