Dahlia

Just as I was posting this I was reading an interview with Kate Humble about her new book. It reads: “an appreciation for dahlias is a fantastically middle-aged thing that hits you, a bit like menopause”. Needless to say I pre-ordered the book called A Year of Living Simply. Must admit though that I have always loved dahlias!
