These are our new roommates under the wooden deck. They may look like normal wasps, but they're not. They're probably field wasps, but I'm not sure. Typical are the very long hind legs that hang down in flight compared to the "normal" wasp species.

However, they are not aggressive and since we will replace this part of the wooden deck next year anyway, we let them live there as long as we accept each other.
