Into the hills

One of the side effects of the pandemic is that it has made us explore more closely our local environment.
This afternoon we walked up to Glenquey reservoir in Glen Devon. This remote glen (see extra) is less than twenty miles from our home yet neither of us had ever visited it before.
Yet it’s easily accessible. We parked in a layby on the main road through the glen then walked a mile and quarter up to the reservoir, which forms part of a chain of five reservoirs. All we saw was the field of cattle ( see extra).
