Monarch

I never get tired of these beautiful butterflies.  We don't see them very often so it's always a real treat.  This one loved the Cosmos - he let me get all kinds of angles on him.

We did survive the night with Na'iema - once she fell asleep she was fine until about 9:30 a.m. An hour of mournful crying for "mama and daddy" was the worst part of the night.  I felt so bad for her but I couldn't do anything that would console her so finally I told her I had to walk the dog and I'd be back and she was asleep by the time I got back.
