Ten Months Old!

.....and seven months since we've seen him in person.  We do get lots of videos of him and of course, have a few Facetimes but he is usually more fascinated by the device than in us.  Some of the videos are so much fun, like the one of him trying his first french fry, from In and Out Burger no less, and a look of wonder on his face.  There was also a video of him sitting in his high chair and becoming completely distracted by first the microwave, then the toaster oven, and finally the coffee-maker.  All those lights! 

When the pandemic started, both parents worked from home which was a bit difficult with a 4-month-old.   When our daughter-in-law was called back as an essential worker (for a financial institution, would you believe?) she decided that their health was more important and that they didn't want a nanny coming every day so she quit her job and hasn't regretted it at all.  My son, who works for the hockey team and his office is only two miles from home does go into the office but no-one else is there.  Right now, the team, team president, and General Manager are all in Edmonton for the Western Conference Stanley Cup playoffs. 

Speaking of playoffs, the Golden Knights won their first-round and eliminated Chicago, and tonight begins the second round for a  7 game series against the Vancouver Canucks.  Game is starting now....so signing off.  Go Knights!
