It seems like decades since the railways lied to us with that slogan.
These days they just seemed resigned to their own crapness and are now strangely honest with their announcements.
'The train is running an hour late as a result of a crew change at Leeds'......This was the first time I've been via Leeds on the London to Edinburgh service. Perhaps the train driver lived there.......or his psychiatrist did.
