there was a momentary pause - in the awful haze - we’ve been experiencing - due to like 4 or 5 fires - burning now in the surrounding areas plus - smoke being pushed in - from those burning in california - as well clogging our - usually blue and sunny skies - so when the clearing came - i rushed outside to - snap a quick shot - of one of the many varieties - of sunflowers now blooming - in the community garden

as i snapped - junior bee was just beginning - to make his way - towards the middle of - the flower head - i could’ve stuck around - to get a better photo - but the skies were - getting all filled again - and my lungs could tell - it wouldn’t be a wise choice - so this is my offering - therefore counting it enough for...
