Monk?

Saw this yesterday and banked it for today. My initial impression was that it was a monk overseeing the project. We now have three candidates SWMBO thinks it could be either Martin Luther or John Knox, whilst my preference is for the more robust philosophy of David Hume - other ideas are welcome...
