Bizarre is a word.........

........often used to describe our native wildflowers. And this is one of them - a sandpaper grevillea. I don't know why it's been names so because the yellow flowers are so soft. 

We had a long "morning meander" today at Kings Park. As far as I've walked for a while. I was recovering beautifully from my surgery in late April when my left hip began demanding attention . I've added some anti-inflammatories to my drug regime. When will it end??? Blah!

Spring is definitely in the air. I think we reached 22 degrees today. It was lovely. A couple off medical appointments tomorrow and then south. Hooray.
