Neglect pays off - again.

Last Autumn when clearing away the Summer bedding I decided to leave a few Gazanias in the ground to see if they could survive the Winter. Earlier this year the foliage was in a poor state and then they were overshadowed by the emerging Lupins. After their first flush of flower they were cut back to ground level and then the Gazanias were revealed looking quite healthy. Flowers have now been produced on one plant.
