Rich - Pop up to Front Tail

I guess this is part two of famous skate spot tourism, as this is at the legendary London spot / now skatepark Southbank. For all of the things that have gone down here this place is like hallowed ground. It is quite an atmospheric and photogenic place; brutalist concrete covered in graffiti, it is the quintessential 'urban' setting. This can in part be demonstrated by the never-ending stream of tourists/photographers that amble past to get an extra shot for their album/trip/project. Even on a drizzly day like today, there were at times I would estimate 40 lenses trained on the shadowy realms of this spot.
Whilst all this was going on Rich felt it necessary to introduce his tail to this block, which with the steepness of the bank is no mean feat. Rest assured that this is properly gnarly. I had just one off-camera flash on a cable for this held off to the right, and this is a straight-out-of-the-camera jpeg. In an ideal world I would have not got the shadow of the lens in the bottom left, and would either have positioned better or shooped it out. But there's always a large part of me that thinks that skateboard photos shouldn't really be post-processed at all, as this is exactly how it happened. So I'm going with this.

PS. Check out that arm steez!
